Two Years!

It is two years since I started this blog. I think it is time to do a giveaway:
bright pink banana fibre
Bright pink 100% banana fibre from HipKnits. There is 160g there, about 160m. It's supposed to be similar to recycled sari silk yarn. Leave a comment, and this time next week, I'll draw one of them at random.

Just like last year, I can't really say blogging has changed my life. But my life has changed since I started. The fundamentals are still there - same husband, same children, same house. But I still don't know how to write about this. Also, tomorrow I go and see someone at a World-Famous University to discuss this.

Oh, how beautiful!! I am already planning what I can make with it (after the pernicious and omnipresent Aran is finished, that is) so I hope I win it.

The colour is so pretty. And Happy Blogiversary!

By the way I wasn't going to say anything about this, since your privacy is important and I respect your decision on what to - and not to - post, but I should let you know that since that post (the one you refer to as "I don't know how to write about this") I have been thinking about you and hoping all is well. And that what you aren't sure you want to write about is completely Good and Wonderful, rather than Scary and Awful.

Hello there! Thanks for your super-kind offer on my blog re pattern. Isn't it funny how we get all cryptic and shy on the blog when it comes to important stuff? - I do the same! Good luck anyway! If you could email me, we could arrange a swap re the pattern? (Would you like the latest Vogue Knitting?) It is:
