Edited to delete my pity party. I thought about what Deborah (real name, not posting name) would advise me to do if she had commented, and then I did it.
I'm fine now, but the comments were nice, so I'm leaving them.

I've been posting on a forum for over three years now. Forum life is lovely until people start getting personal, and then forum life can be horribly upsetting.
You know you *should* ignore them. But it's easier said than done, isn't it? I've been where you are now ... give yourself some time.
Take care :-) x
'If of all words of tongue and pen,
The saddest are, 'It might have been,'
More sad are these we daily see:
'It is, but hadn't ought to be!'

Chin up and take care :)
Oh, dear, I missed your pity party! I've been gone for a while...
Take care though...
It's a well-known story on the 'net, Shan.
I post on a forum, someone is snarky back, then lots of people click agree on the snarky post.
The reason I minded enough to blog was because that forum is never snarky. But I'm over it now: forgiveness costs nothing and I won't let her change my behaviour.
Oh, I missed your pity party too.
*pouts*
The perils of not being able to blog at the moment whilst my blog host undergoes a huge rearranging of the virtual furniture - apparently I stop reading other people's blogs as well.
Grumblemutter.
Was it a good pity party, at least?
