Your taste is still killer...

Found this on a new-to-me blog and had to share.




It reminds me of something Ferret said to me ages ago, which was along the lines of do what you can now do so that you learn to do the more adventurous bits.

Great quote. Reminds me of those awful disappointments following craft books as a child and ending up with something SO wrong and unsatisfying. But there was always a craving that the next one would be 'more like it'. Still working on it, but at least haven't got to paint on sugar paper with watery colourless paint blocks and shaving-brush size bristle brushes!!
