Submerged

sub - takes the ablative, under
mergo - meaning to sink or cover over, 3rd conjugation

submerged - from the Latin: what happens when one studies hard for an exam (next week!) and has no spare brain power for blogging.

I figure if the brain needs a break, surf blogs. You don't have to post until the exam is over but looking at other blogs may free up some brain matter.

That's one option.

Another thing which is surprisingly effective is to knit lace or do counted cross stitch. Essentially they seem to need concentration, but not thought.
